เช่นประโยคที่ว่า  "He is the father of this cute baby."

ถ้าเราจะต้องมี relative clause เพื่อขยายคำว่า father  เช่น  "who is working at this building"  เราจะเอา clause นี้ไปใส่ไว้หลัง baby ไม่ได้ใช่มั้ยครับ  หรือว่าถ้าอยากจะใส่ในประโยคเดียวกัน ก็ต้องไปใช้ and เชื่อมแทน เป็น He is the father of this cute baby, and he is working at this building.  

แต่อย่างนี้  ประโยคมันจะไม่เป็นไปตามกฎ parallel ที่ว่า tense ของประโยคหน้ากับประโยคหลังต้องคู่ขนานกัน คือเป็น tense เดียวกันหรือเปล่าครับ
