สงสัยเรื่อง reported speech ครับ
'My father read the stories to me when I was a child,' he said.
เป็น Indirect speech จะได้
He said that his father had read the stories to him when he was a child.
หรือ
He said that his father had read the stories to him when he had been a child.
ที่สงสัยคือ clause ที่อยู่ข้างหลังต้องเปลี่ยน tense ไหมครับ หรือคง tense เดิมไว้
ลองถามใน chatgpt มันบอกว่า ไม่ต้องเปลี่ยน เพราะว่ามันจะ redundant เปลี่ยนแค่ข้างหน้าก็พอ
