.....
perched upon an unstable stone
I who always ends up alone
that made its home in shallow water
and settles around this cumberer
is a kind of me who does exist
the early morning brings mist
brook murmurs softly lure
to see how much me can endure
I place me's palm on the surface
me's hand down with purpose
ripples form as the tension breaks
and then the water takes
its waters are calm and gentle
to stay upright is a struggle
there is still a problem that remains
around me's neck are heavy chains
though this brook runs shallow
hand slid as if drenched in tallow
as I disrupts the shallow water
crushing the will of this sinner
rock shifting, body falling
chains' weight is appalling
the screams are I's own to keep
in the shallows ..... me drowned deep
