I took me on a date
me was looked so grand
I built up a courage
asked to hold me's hand
I took me to a restaurant
and then to a show
I put arm around me
in the most secluded row
I whispered in me's ear
of happiness and bliss
but me almost slapped I
when I tried to steal a kiss
then I walked me home
I was high as a kite
I thanked me for a date
and wished me goodnight
but there’s one problem
that hurt I's pride
me would not invite I in
so now I'm locked outside
