And when it seems that I’m hopeless
You say the words that can get me back in focus
When I was sick as a little kid
To keep me happy there’s no limit to the things you did
And all my childhood memories
Are full of all the sweet things you did for me
And even though I act crazy
I gotta thank the Lord that you made me
There are no words that can express how I feel
You never kept a secret, always stayed real
And I appreciate, how you raised me
And all the extra love that you gave me
I wish I could take the pain away
If you can make it through the night there’s a brighter day
Everything will be alright if ya hold on
It’s a struggle everyday, gotta roll on
And there’s no way I can pay you back
But my plan is to show you that I understand
You are appreciated
เมื่อถึงคราวที่ฉันสิ้นหวัง
แม่ก็พูดสิ่งที่ทำให้ฉันกลับมาฮึดสู้ได้อีกครั้ง
เมื่อฉันป่วยตอนเด็กๆ
แม่ก็พยายามทำให้ฉันมีความสุขอยู่เสมอ ไม่มีขอบเขตในสิ่งที่แม่จะทำให้
และความทรงจำวัยเด็กของฉันทั้งหมด
ก็เต็มไปด้วยเรื่องดีๆที่แม่ทำให้
และถึงแม้ฉันอาจจะทำตัวบ้าๆบอๆ
แต่ก็ต้องขอบคุณพระเจ้าที่แม่สร้างฉันขึ้นมา
ไม่มีคำไหนจะอธิบายสิ่งที่ฉันรู้สึกได้เลย
แม่ไม่เคยเก็บซ่อนความลับไว้ มองความเป็นจริงเสมอ
และผมขอบคุณที่แม่เลี้ยงผมมาจนโต
และความรักอันท่วมท้นที่มอบให้ผม
ฉันหวังว่าฉันจะลบความเจ็บปวดทั้งหมดของแม่ไปได้
หากเราจะผ่านพ้นเวลาอันมืดมิดไปได้ มันจะมีวันที่สดใสกว่าเดิม
ทุกๆอย่างจะเป็นไปได้ด้วยดีหากเราสู้ต่อไป
เราต้องล้มลุกคลุกคลานอยู่ทุกๆวัน จะต้องสู้ต่อไป
ไม่มีทางที่ผมจะตอบแทนบุญคุณได้เลย
แต่มีแผนที่จะทำให้แม่เห็นว่าผมเข้าใจนะ
ผมนับถือแม่นะ
