Cirith Ungol? ในรูปคือ Barad-dur นะครับและในภาพยนตร์เค้าตีความว่า The Two Towers คือ Orthanc กับ Barad-dur ครับ
Orthanc ในหนังสือระบุไว้ว่า ภายในกำแพงของ Isengard มีรัศมี 1 ไมล์และเมื่อยืนบนยอดหอคอยจะมีความสูง 500 ฟุตจากพื้น หรือประมาณ 150 เมตร
"A great ring-wall of stone, like towering cliffs, stood out from the shelter of the mountain-side, from which it ran and then returned again... one who passed in and came at length out of the echoing tunnel, beheld a plain, a great circle, somewhat hollowed like a vast shallow bowl: a mile it measured from rim to rim. ส่วน Barad-dur ในหนังสือไม่มีขนาดที่แน่ชัดครับ แต่ในภาพยนตร์ที่แฟนๆคำนวณไว้จากขนาดของโมเดล Barad-dur ต้องสูงอย่างน้อย 5,000 ฟุต หรือราวๆ 1.5 กิโลเมตรครับ
ในส่วนของชื่อ The Two Towers นั้น J.R.R. Tolkien ไม่ใช่คนคิดแต่เป็นสำนักพิมพ์ในตอนที่หั่นหนังสือออกเป็นสามเล่มครับ ดังนั้นจึงไม่แน่ชัดว่าเป็นหอคอยไหนบ้าง Tolkien เองเคยเปรยๆว่าน่าจะเป็น Orthanc กับ Cirith Ungol, หรือ Orthac กับ Barad-dur รึอาจจะเป็น Minas Torith กับ Barad-dur ส่วนในภาพยนตร์เระบุเป็นเป็น Barad-dur ซึ่งก็สมเหตุสมผลนะครับ
