At least 35 people were reported dead during multiple acts of violence in Paris, including shootings in a Paris restaurant and explosions near the country’s main sports stadium, the AP said.
Police said at least 11 people were killed in a Paris restaurant in the 10th arrondissement, while at least another 15 were killed in the Bataclan theater, the AP reported.
About 100 hostages were also taken at the theater, AP said.
Separately, two explosions took place near the Stade de France stadium, where France and Germany were playing a soccer match, the AP said.

President François Hollande was evacuated from the stadium after the explosions, which occurred during a France-Germany soccer match. Hollande is meeting with top security officials in the Interior Ministry, the AP reported.
The explosions were loud enough to be heard over the cheering fans by an AP reporter, the news agency said. It was unclear if there were casualties.
U.S. security officials, who are monitoring the situation, believe the attacks were coordinated, Reuters said.
France suffered at least three high-profile terror attacks earlier this year.
In January, 17 people were killed in two attacks, one on satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo and another, a day later, at a kosher grocery in Paris. The slaughters by a radicalized trio catapulted France’s capital onto the front pages of newspapers around the world.
In August, two U.S. soldiers were wounded after they confronted a gunman on a high-speed train between Amsterdam and Paris, potentially averting a massacre.
