Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?
Children should be occupied at all times and should never be left to their own devices.
In my opinion, I strongly disagree with the statement. From my experiences and observations, I find that there are many children become the successful persons and usually become the key persons in society improvement when they grow up because of their freedom treat. Therefore, giving children the freedom is better than controlling them all times with many reasons as following.
First of all, allowing children to express themselves freely make them have their self-confidence. Whenever they have the self-confidence, they will get along with their friends easily and have their own communities faster than children who were limited their thought by parents. In addition, the children will be able to make decision for some problems without asking some hands from adults. All those reasons will ensure the parents who always give their children the freedom do not much concern about their children social living.
Next, the new generations who have freedom to choose their studying major by themselves will do their grade excellent. For example, some of my high school friends who chose the studying major by themselves had better grade than others who studied in the way their parents want them to do because the previous children did not have any pressure from their parents and could enjoy all subjects that they were interested in. The better grade the children have, the more opportunities to get some good works.
Moreover, freedom is the best material for innovation idea. When children have the idea, not only they can create and adapt their lifestyle to be better and better, but they can also use their creative idea to help their friends to solve some life problems, improve their family money status and improve the society where they live in to be a nice place.
In conclusion, providing children the freedom will give many advantages not only to the children, but also to their family and their society. Thus, I strongly disagree with the statement and highly recommend the modern parents to give their children the freedom.
