Hello. I am using my friends account. I am a guy.

I am a European staying in Thailand for two months. So far, I have been to Bangkok, Phra and Nan. Wherever I go people seem to stare at me but don't want to talk with me.

My best thai friend says it's because they are afraid of me as I am 190cm and they are worried that they cannot speak English that well so they may not be able to understand what I am saying.

Is this true or are there other reasons?
