Thai People Does Not Understand Sarcasm

[If you stumble upon this, read it, and feel offended like comment#1(คห.1) and the people who replied in it (smartass Thais). This post is clearly not meant for you. I post this because I want to leave useful bread crumbs for people who need this such as hybrid kids, expats, or westerned educated individuals who try to survive here in Thailand.]

In this conversation posting I talk about my experience at a local Thai pub where I went regularly for at least a year. Met 3 strangers who were older than me who never came to this specific pub. They ask about my education and workplace. They were informed that I was educated in the United States and UK. They were informed that I work as an international teacher here in the same Soi as the pub. Out of nowhere and apparently no reason; they chose to troll and take the piss out of me just to cause a big scene. Apparently I was not hurt, I was trained in the military, young and fit.
[Why post this on Pantip???]
Apparently pantip.com is the closest thing to Quora or Reddit in Thailand. Though you will not be able to register here if you do not have a Thai identification document. I chose Pantip because it is the first website to hit Google’s top search.
[Why didn’t I typed clearly about my intentions in the first place and why chooses to edit now?]
I always knew that I will have to come back and edit to be able to leave this information. Like I mentioned, there are no other websites in Thailand that hits top search in Google like pantip.com. I did my research. No point in making a blog too, it gets pushed down. I have to come back later to avoid getting backlashes from the smartass Thais like comment #1(คห.1).

According to Spencer Rathus, Psychology in the New Mellenium, page 242. -
“You might like to think that people are so rational that they carefully weigh all the pro's and cons when they make judgments or decisions. Or you might think that they insist on finding and examining all the relevant information. Actually, people make most of their decisions on the basis of limited information.” , (By this logic, every English words serves as a blank space for non-English Thai speakers. This might sounds mean to you, but if you have been here long enough, you will know that it is useless trying to explain fact or logic to non-English Thai speakers. It just doesn't work. Whether it is language barrier, culture, or education. Whatever the case, it just doesn't work and better not waste your time doing that here, they don't think beyond here and now. They're not future oriented thinkers.)
This way, it will be easy for me or "others", to filtered out between the typical smartass Thais, western educated, and deep thinkers.
Typing in messy English-Thai will also works as a search tag for google search engine. Plus, if you spent anytime with the international student society here in Thailand. Apparently this is how they do speak in real life, I thought it would be cute and fun to make a conversation posting that is appealing to them to get them start reading as soon as they spot this post.

Why is it hard to find answers in Thai websites?]
Most of the time if you try to search for answers here in Thailand. You will end up getting nothing. That is because most western educated Thais or foreigners here will not post this kind of information on a “Thai” website because apparently “Thais” are very sensitive to reality. They want everything to be filtered and softened so that they don't have to accept any kind of harsh reality about the flaws of their culture. Most Thais do not appreciate the truth because they don’t want to lose “face”. The culture here is to always maintain the “face” of everyone. But not me, I am a black sheep who loves facts and logic

Crowd Mentality]
In western countries, people were taught to think for themselves and become individuals. In Thailand most people grew up with a crowd mentality. Crowd mentality here is so common that the Thais have slang for it, such as “ไทยมุง”. This can be a pain in the ass in a situation where you would be 100% right anywhere else in the world, but just because everybody else around you are Thais. They will make you feel as if you are the problem, just to save everyone’s “face”. Keep in mind, if you are not “Thai” or grew up here, you will always be considered the black sheep or weirdo. Most people here do not respect individualism, ethnicity/culture/race differences, or basic human rights.

Cultural Difference]
You will hear this for the rest of your stay. Most Thais will tell you this excuse for every kind of stupid, rude, illogical things they do to offend you. Even if you caught them trying to scam you, they will say cultural difference. Even if you try to have an intellectual conversation, they ignore you and say cultural difference. Even if you almost get into a life or death situation such as lawless driving, they say cultural difference. They punch you in the face, they say cultural difference. If you live or work here long enough. You will know this has nothing to do with culture, but with the problem of education and critical thinking skills of most Thai people.

Education]
If you grew up in Western countries or were educated from international schools. You were taught since childhood about diversities of people, religion, and cultures through classes such as “social studies” or “geography”. Most Thais here do not have that kind of basic primary school education, people who do are in the minority, mostly from middle or upper class families who were able to afford private education. เผื่อบังเอิญถ้าชอบมุข "sarcasm" มาเห็นโพสนี้จ่ะได้รู้ว่าไม่ได้เจอหรือเป็นคนเดียว
กาลครั้งหนึ่งนานมาแล้ว ในช่วงกลางซอยรามคำแหง118มี pub แนวบ้านๆของเจ้าของที่ชื่อ "พี่แอ๊บ" ติดกับร้าน "ส้มตำไทยนัว"
ช่วง2ทุ่มผมได้เดินเข้าไปแต่วันนั้นคนเยอะเลยต้องนั่งร่วมกับคนแปลกหน้า 3 คน
ฝั่งตรงข้ามผมเป็นผู้ชายกับผู้หญิงอายุน่าจ่ะประมาณ35-40 และทางซ้ายคู่ผมน่าจ่ะช่วง 25-30 ตอนนั้นผมเองอายุ20
ก็ทำการแนะนำตัวคุยกันปกติ "เคยเรียนที่ไหน มาจากไหน ทำงานอะไร" ทำนองนั้น
สักพักผู้ชายตรงข้ามจับมือผมและถามว่า "มีแฟนหรือยัง"
ผมสังเกตุเห็นว่าผู้หญิงนั่งข้างๆอมยิ้ม
ผมเลยคิดว่าพี่คนนี้ต้องเล่นมุขแน่ๆเพราะผู้หญิงข้างๆหน้าคร้ายกับพี่เค้าเหมือนเป็นแฟนหรือเมีย
[ทาง biology ท่าคนคบกันนาน หน้าจ่ะทำการ shift ให้คล้ายกัน]
ผมก็เลยตอบว่า "มีครับ" เพราะผมรู้ว่ากำลังโดน "troll" แน่ๆ
ผ่านไปสัก 20 นาที ผู้หญิงที่นั่งตรงข้ามข้างพี่คนที่จับมือผม ก็หันมาจับมือผมและถามว่า "ถามจริง มีแฟนหรือยัง"
ผมก็เลยงง พวกคุณก็พึ่งถามผมเมื่อกี้โต๊ะก็เล็กหูหนวกกันหรอครับ
ตอนนี้เป็นผู้หญิงคำตอบผมจ่ะเปลี่ยนหรอ คุณ "insult my intelligence/memory" หรอ?
ผมก็ตอบไปอย่าง "sarcastically" แบบดังๆชัดๆ "ไม่ครับ ผมไม่มี"
หลังจากนั้นทั้งสามก็ถามผม "ไหนบอกมี" "ไหนบอกมี" "ไหนบอกมี"
ผมก็เลยเล่นตามด้วยการเล่นมุข "troll & sarcastic" โดยการบอกว่า "ผมคบบ้างไม่คบบ้าง ผมจ่ะตอบยังไงก็ได้ครับ"
โดยขณะที่ทำสีหน้า/น้ำเสียงและยิ้มยิงฟัน ให้เห็นชัดเจ็นว่าผมกำลังเล่นมุขอยู่
แต่แล้วดูเหมือนทั้งสามจ่ะไม่เข้าใจและเริ่มโมโห คงนึกว่าผมอยากจ่ะได้กับผู้หญิงพวกเค้ามั้งครับ
พี่ข้างๆก็หันมาถาม "รู้ไหมที่นั่งตรงข้ามเป็นแฟนกัน"
ผมก็ส่ายหัวแรงๆทำตาโตๆยืดคอสูงๆและพูดเสียงสูงๆ ว่า "ผมไม่รู้เลยยยยยยยยครับ"
สักพักนึงเริ่มโมโหกัน และก็ทำหน้าเหมือนอยากจ่ะชกผม
ผมเลยงงมาก อ้าววววว คุณเล่นมุขกับผมตอนรู้จักกันครั้งแรก ผมก็เล่นกลับไงครับ
คุณ "troll" ผม ผมก็ "troll" คุณ
โดยปกติแล้วในต่างประเทศคนเล่นกลับ มันถือว่าเป็นคนตลกและมีไหวพริบ กวนไปกวนกันแปปนึง แล้วก็หัวเราะกัน
แต่ที่นี่เหมือนคนโดน "troll" ต้องรับอย่างเดียว เล่นกลับไม่ได้
ทั้งสามก็ตะโกนจ่ายเงินแบบโมโห แล้วก็เดินออกแบบเร็วๆ
ผมงงเลยครับ ไม่มี logic หรือ humor สักหนิด คิดหรอครับว่าผมอายุ20ต้องมาแย่งเมียอายุ40คนอื่น
สงสัยหลงกันเองนึกว่าสวยมากมั้งครับ หน้าก็ยังก่ะแม่ผม ผมจ่ะไปมีอารมย์อะไรล่ะคร้าบบบบ
ผมก็แค่เล่นตามพวกคุณ มาทำยังก่ะผมจ่ะมาแย่งเมียหนังยานๆๆของคุณ
หลังจากนั้นผมเลยสังเกตุว่าคนไทยไม่ค่อยเข้าใจมุข Sarcasm หรือ Satire
และจากดูในเวปต่างชาติ เช่นthaivisa ก็เลยเข้าใจมากกว่าเดิม เพราะคนอื่นก็งงเหมือนกับผมกันเยอะ
