Lymph node, right side of neck, incisional biopsy:
- Atypical lymphoid hyperplasia
- Lymphoproliferative disorder cannot be excluded
NOTE: Awaiting for immunostainings with CD3, CD20, CD5, CD23, CD10, CyclinD1 and TdT.
ADDITIONAL REPORT(March 29, 2018):-
Lymph node, right side of neck, incisional biopsy:
- Precursor T lymphoblastic lymphoma/leukemia
ADDENDUM
Positive: CD5, TdT
Negative: CD3, CD20, CD23, CD10, CyclinD1
COMMENT: Bone marrow study with clinical correlation is recommended for definite
diagnosis.
GROSS EXAMINATION: พญ. ปาริชาติ วงศเสนา
Received in formalin, labeled with patient's identifications is a piece of soft brown tissue measuring 0.6x0.5x0.4 cm.
The cut surfaces reveal tan-brown appearance. It is bisected and submitted in toto as A.
HISTOLOGICAL EXAMINATION: พญ. นภัทร สุขกสี
The section shows fragments of lymphoid tissue composed of a proliferation of mononuclear cells which have
medium sized, round, slightly indented nuclei with rather fine chromatin, inconspicuous nucleoli and scanty cytoplasm.
There are occasionally scattered small lymphocytes, plasma cells and mitoses seen in the background. Residual lymphoid
follicles are rarely seen.
CLINICAL DIAGNOSIS: Lymphadenopathy
