Nowadays, human invents many new technologies including Television. Most people spend their spare time watching television because television has many interesting programs such as cartoon, game show, documentary, and reality. The experimental research has shown us that a role and also actors are influential to audience for actors act truthfully as they're actually those characters. However, having no good model, desire to be accepted, and desire to be famous are significant factors of teenager's imitating celebrity.
Firstly, being looked after by single parent, most teenagers lack a mother or father image, so they copy a movie star's behavior as an exemplar of their mother or father. For example, Chloe's parents divorced, so she has to live with her father. When she is becoming a teenage, she has no model of being a woman. Therefore, she follows her favorite actress's behavior as a model of her mother. (Need more supports)
Secondly, teenagers want to be accepted. Famous celebrities are admired by many people. Teenagers try to reproduce those actors' looks for they want people to accept them. (NEED MORE SUPPORTS)
The last, desiring to be famous, teenagers imitate a film star's behavior. Many star contests promote that the winner will get many change of being rich, being a celebrity, and being able to show a talent, so predictably teenager change their life style and behavior to be similar to their favorite famous actors.

ในยุคปัจจุบันนวัตกรรมอันทันสมัยได้เกิดขึ้นมากมายหลายประการหนึ่งในนั้นคือ โทรทัศน์ ผู้คนส่วนใหญ่ใช้เวลาว่างกบโทรทัศน์อย่างมากไม่ว่าจะเป็น ผู้ใหญ่ เด็ก วัยรุ่น ตลอดจน ผู้สูงวัย สาเหตุเพราะรูปแบบของรายการโทรทัศน์มีให้รับชมหลายแบบ เช่น การ์ตูน เกมโชว์ สารคดี เรียลลิตี้ ซึ่งส่วนที่สำคัญคือ บทของการแสดงในรายการนั้น จากการศึกษาพบว่านอกจากตัวบทจะมีผลต่อพฤติกรรมของผู้รับชมแล้วนักแสดงที่มารับบทบาทก็เช่นกัน เพราะว่าเมื่อผู้ชมได้รับชมการแสดงนั้นก้มักจถูกโน้มน้าวใจให้มีความคิดจริงๆว่า ผู้แสดงมีบุคลิก ท่าทาง และนิสยเหมือนอย่างบทบาทที่สดงอยู่จริงๆ สาเหตุของพฤติกรรมการเลียนแบบดาราที่เพิ่มมากในปัจจุบันมี 3 สาเหตุหลัก
1.การเติบโตของวัยรุ่นในปัจจุบัน เด็กช่วงอายุ 12-19 ปีเติบโตมาในครอบครัวเดี่ยว ทำให้ไม่มีต้นแบบ
2.ดาราได้รับการยอมรับจากผู้คนในสังคม
3.วัฒนธรรมรายการประกวด กระแสของรายการแนวเรียลลิตี้ ทำให้คนธรรมดากลายเป็นดาราได้ โดยขายความเป็นตัวของตัวเอง ซึ่งส่วนมากจะเป็นด้านบันเทิง อย่างความสวย หล่อ การร้องเพลง การแสดง รวมถึงความเป็นตัวของตัวเอง
การเลียนแบบอย่างจากดาราสามารถแบ่งได้ 3 ด้านคือ 1. ด้านการศึกษาและกีฬา 2.ด้านมรรยาททางสังคม และ 3.ด้านการรักษาสุขภาพและอาหารการกิน
