นักข่าว BBC  Jonathan Head รายงานข่าวว่า นายกรักษาการบอกว่า รับผิดชอบแค่คิดโครงการจำนำข้าวขึ้นมา  แต่ไม่ได้ทำหน้าที่รับผิดชอบเรื่องการดำเนินการซื้อขายข้าว

Ms Yingluck insists she (is innocent)  - she was in charge only of formulating the policy, she said, not the day-to-day running of the scheme.
