หลังจากขึ้นนำในรอบแรกที่ 7 อันเดอร์พาร์ทำให้น้อง ฯ ได้รับคำชมอย่างมาก

“She's pretty long. She's very long.  She's a really nice kid, really, really nice kid.
She hits it really long and she just kind of aims at the pin and fires it there,
and that did end up hurting her--she shoots a lot of very low rounds
is what I found and she's got a great game.”

Kerr played with the 17-year old in Singapore earlier this season,
the week after the Thailand native’s 18th hole collapse in her home country
at the Honda LPGA Thailand where she triple-bogeyed to lose by one stroke to Inbee Park.
Kerr said the young player brought up the sore subject and Kerr offered some honest,
encouraging words.

"I played with her the next week in Singapore and she goes,
‘Did you see what happened last week?’  I go, ‘Yeah.’
She goes (bumps fist to her head) like that.  I go, ‘Yeah, you're young,
you'll have plenty of chances.’  She's a great player.”

Park has yet to play in the same group as Jutanugarn but has caught glimpses of her long game.
She said it’s been nice to see a young player be able to bounce back
after a particularly tough finish. I haven't really played with her in the same group,
but I've seen her hitting balls and she has played in front of me or behind me
so I've been seeing where her drive ending up and I’m looking behind, she's really long,”
said Park. “She'll have a big advantage for this golf course. She's a very talented player
and I'm very happy that she's playing really good, especially after that finish on No. 18, it's always good to see somebody bouncing back like that.”
