The dust motes dance in sunbeams thin,
A silent house where shadows spin.
Each room echoes with what used to be,
A hollow space where you long to see.

A friendly face, a loving sound,
But only emptiness is found.
The world outside is bright and vast,
But here, this lonely spell is cast.
