History : O/R left breast mass.
Comparison study : none
Technique : CC and MLO mammogram with gray scale ultrasound
Mammogram Findings
1. Breast Tissue Composition : Extremely dense fibroglandular tissue
2. Masd : Not detectable
3. Calcification : Two large rod calcifitions at left center lower quadrant
4. Architectural Distortion : Not detectable
5. Lymphadenopathy : No significant lymph nod
6. Others : Not detectable
Ultrasound findings
1. Mass : A lobulate hypoechoic, non patsllel lesion at L8 with posterior enhancement, size about 0.3x0.6 cm. Increase vadcularity ia also noted.
2. cyst : Not detectable
3. Others : No lectiferous duct dilatation.
Impression
-A lobulate hypoechoic, non parallel lesion at L8 with posterior enhancement. Ddc are complicated cyst or early abscess or resolving hematoma.
Assessment : BIRADS 4a : Low suspicious
Recommendations : Further tissue diagnosis or closed follow uo USG is suggested.
Note: False negative rate of mammogram is approximately 10-15%
Management of palpable abnormality must be base on clinical assessment.
