By definition, Thailand should not have Subprime as financial institutions in Thailand have not created/provided Mortgage Backed Securities (MBS) or Collateralized Debt Obligations (CDO) by pooling together mortgage loans that have low quality (high chance for mortgage loans to become NPL loans) For example, the borrowers do not have ability to service debt but banks/lenders designed the payment/installment very low in the first 2-3 years and step up payment afterwards.
If your definition of subprime is NPLs related to mortgage loans, NPLs from mortgage loans should increase, given borrowers lost their job and inability to service loans and interest.
Apologies for not being able to type in Thai.
