Ariana Grande will release a new song entitled "7 Rings" on January 18.
The singer announced the drop date on Twitter Thursday with some cover art, seen above.
The instrumental for "7 Rings" was first previewed at the beginning of Grande's video for "thank u, next." Grande explained to fans on Twitter that the song was inspired by a day she had spent in New York City with her six friends. Grande wrote: "my friends took me to tiffany’s. we had too much champagne. i bought us all rings. 💍 it was very insane and funny. & on the way back to the stu njomza was like ‘bitch, this gotta be a song lol’. so we wrote it that afternoon."
