some time just wonder
when soul stops wander
inside head thought replies
there is me, myself and I

whenever I feel sad
things, from worse to bad
and nothing makes any sense
me'll come to I's defense

I, sometimes is prone
thinking that I is alone
the truth is, there is three
I, myself and me

myself is calm and wise
with a glint in the eyes
not a moment too soon
to help dispel the gloom

so, in all, can't complain
there is but only one name
learned to rely on myself
when me and I need help
