Yunnan Normal Univesity ( Kunming ) ways of life questions

sorry I dont have Thai fonts .  I am relocating to Kunming in a few month.  I will attend the Yunnan U over there. my questions are
1. The thing is does anyone know the good area to rent a house?  I will go there with my dog with me
2  Rent a house how much does it cost approx?
3. Does the city is dog friendly? I mean to walk my dog in a park or outside?
