พาดหัวจากWBC

Right now the name Srisaket Sor Rungvisai may have little more significance  than Sanskrit to a US audience,  but no bull...,  as he`s determined to initial a hard hitting impression and stamp his authority, in the  fight against World Boxing Council super flyweight champion Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez (46-0, 38 KO's).

Before that title belonged to Roman, it was held in the powerful hands of  the Thai fighter hands, who lost it against the Mexican Carlos Cuadras, via a technical decison. Then, Gonzalez, snatched it from the Aztec, but the Asian Sensation  remained firm as a rock in the  WBC rankings, hoping, planning and plotting  to again fight for  the crown.

The opportunity came sooner than he imagined, and the Thai is convinced that he can defeat the four-time world champion Nicaraguan, to untie the knot.

"I respect Román González, he's a legend, I'm happy that Nicaragua has a great hero, but I'll do whatever it takes to win my belt again, I'm sure I can do it. I'm sure I can beat Román González and the fight will not last more than 12 rounds, "the Thai  fighter told to Bernie Bahrmasel, publicist of K2 Promotions.

"It's my dream to fight at the Madison Square Garden. I'm excited to be the first Thai to fight there. This is history in the making.  I 'm going to fight for Thailand and my family to bring back the WBC belt home , where it belongs. In the United States, maybe they do not know me well, but I have knockout power and I'm going to go there to triumph. I can`t be more excited to show the world exactly who Srisaket Sor Rungvisai is!"
