EDM IS NOT DEAD, NEITHER IS BLEND FEST MUSIC FESTIVAL!
As EDM festivals have been steadily on the rise over the last decade or so, Blend Fest that was held in Bangkok last few weeks sure did everyone proud AGAIN! It was no doubt that all Bangkok Party Lovers stayed overtly fun and high by its music, all night long.
If you haven’t noticed yet, EDM is taking over the world! Every party would not be complete without a little bit of EDM. Like Blend Fest in Bangkok, there were a lot of famous Thai Singers performing live, but the party was well elevated to a higher level by EDM!
Blend Fest started around 6pm. Pre-Registration was required prior to entrance. I arrived early to avoid long queue. Inside, there were game booths, souvenir shops,and various food & drinks stations. There was something like VIP ZONE called the Lounge Signature. Inside, there were good looking men and women sitting and sipping alcoholic cocktail prepared by BLEND 285. Some of them I think are net idols. Are they?Well, here are some pics from the party.

While my friends were super busy taking pictures with “PRETTY” at each booth, DJ SUNZONE (whom was also at the party last year) started the festival with EDM. I don’t know about the others, but I was super excited when I heard EDM! The party had started and I started to jump and dance around already. 555555 For those of you who do not know, DJ SUNZONE is a Thai DJ, but his music wasn’t bad at all. Welldone Thailand!
Here came the first Thai Singer Live Band ”25 HOURS”, they were switching between fast and slow song. To be honest, I am not a big fan of Live Band, but I was still having fun with 25 HOURS.
SLOT MACHINE was next. Most of the time, they were playing fast songs to arouse people. Everyone around me started jumping, dancing, drinking and screaming! I think it was also because of the lighting which was grand and making everyone high. After an hour of dancing and screaming, the lead singer of SLOT MACHINE started to throw away T-Shirt and Alien inflated balloon. I wasn’t sure who got them but lucky you!!!!
And of course, the BLEND FEST would not be complete without BODYSLAM! I guess a lot of peopl
that night were waiting for them. I could tell from the decibel of screaming! OMG, my ear drums could break. I think they were the best live band for that night. People were invited up to join BODYSLAM on the stage. No one could stop screaming; no one could stop jumping! I even got a stomp on my left foot! But as I was enjoying the show so much, I did not mind a little stomping! The only song that people did not dance to was a slow song called “PRO-BANG” (เปราะบาง). But believe me, the screaming was still epic. 1.30 hours of BODYSLAM! SUPER FUN!
No the party did not end with BODYSLAM. DJ SODA was also present! She did her famous “NEW THANG” dance on the stage while mixing her song. All the boys took their mobile phone (with camera) out to snap pictures of DJ SODA (and her new large size attraction).
Surprisingly!LOOK whom I met! Mr. C-NEW!my idol! He, too, danced like it was the end of the world. 55555 Amazing party, Blend285! Love it much and I will not miss next year!
