There are many temples in Chiang Mai, each with its own unique features but
Wat Sri Suphan is one of new highlight place in Thailand because this temple has its own identity which is covered with silver. So, we will take you to travel with us in Wat Sri Suphan.
Transportation 
First, we will start at Chiang Mai International Airport.
When you exit the arrivals terminal at Chaing Mai International Airport, you'll be confronted by numerous touts offering to transport you anywhere in Chaing Mai , usually in a mini bus (Red car) or taxi but the transport that we use today is Motorbike.
we leave from Chiang Mai International Airport and turn right.
and then we go straight on Mahidol Road and you will see the PTT gas station on your left
and also the business airport park and The Far Eastern University.
After that, when you are at the crossroad, you need to turn left.
Then, go along on the Mahidol road and you will see the post office on your left.
And you still go straight on the road until you are on Bunruangrit road and you will pass elephant statues on your right.
Then, you have to turn right at the first U-turn
and then go straight on Arak road
you will pass Suan buak Haad Public Park on your left.
Then, you will also pass Pratoo Chaing Mai fresh market on your left.
On your right, you will see Chiang Mai Gate and you have to turn right.
Then, you will see the traffic light and the crossroad, so you need to go along on the left.
After that, go straight on the road until you see the signs and then turn right and turn left again.
Then, you will see Wat Sri Suphan sign
History of the temple 
Wat Srisuphan was built in 1501 by the king Prajaotiloakrachpanaddatirach (The king PraMuangKaew of the Mengrai Dynasty) who assigned Muen Luang Ja Kham who was an officer to bring a Buddha image and establish Wat Srisuphan Aram temple. Then, in 1502, there is an abbot to look after the temple and a year after that, the main Vihara was complete. Around 1505-1506 the Chedi (Pagoda) was constructed and also in 1509, the Shrine predict was consecrated. In 1923, a primary school was established in the temple.
Interesting 
The silver ubosot (ordination hall) .
The entire surface of the hall, inside and out, is being covered in silver. The roof is already covered in silver-plated tiles, and on my last visit, they were preparing to cover the exterior walls with beaten silver panels. It is amazing.

But !! No entry for ladies
Women aren’t allowed to enter the main ordination hall because beneath the base of Ubosotha in the monastic boundary, many precious things, incantations, amulets and other holy objects were buried 500 years ago. Entering inside the place may deteriorated the place or otherwise the lady herself. According to this Lanna Belief, ladies are not allowed to enter the Ubosotha.
Cathedral
Inside the cathedral has statue with silver about The life of the Buddha
The area around the temple have a sculpture made of silver such as label, tram and sculptures for wall mounted.
for this sculpture 100,000 baht.

There are also many building in the temple such as Ubosot, Wihan, Old hall for keeping the scriptures,
Pagoda, Information building, Building for traveler (healthy food and beverage), Department of Non-Formal Education and Community enterprise.
The first thing you'll see when you enter to the temple is
Wihan , the building style lanna so it is uniqueness of the northern.
Ubosot is the most interesting in this temple,all of building make from silver.
