Caribbean Islands?

Can someone please give me some advice on which island we should head to?
I plan to take my kids on holidays for 2 weeks in fall break.
I have checked it out from different forums like Tripadvisor, but would love to hear from
Thai travellers. We need sun, sand, see and lot of fun for kids.
Shopping, night life are not for us.
Good food, nice hotels would be our targets.
