Jon is a member of the Art Directors Guild local 800 as Senior Illustrator. He specializes in conceptual design, illustration, specialty prop, creature and costume creation for television and feature films, as well as sculpting for the toy industry, museum exhibits, television and feature films. Jon has been freelancing for more than 25 years.
Jon has sculpted hundreds of head likenesses for museums exhibits, feature films and action figures, as well as animals for museum exhibits, including the traveling exhibits Tiniest Giants and Dogs: Wolf, Myth, Hero & Friend.
Jon’s work can be seen in more than 50 movies and television shows, his most recent work includes The Hunger Games, Looper, Anchorman 2, Paranoia, Spiderman, Green Hornet, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, Priest and A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010). His career in movies began with Michael Jackson’s Ghosts, The Lost World: Jurassic Park and T2-3D the ride for Universal Studios.
