Note: I signed in to gmail phone for the first time while in Ireland using my laptop purchased in the US. I do not know whether free calls to the US will work on any device purchased outside the US.
How do you make phone calls through your gmail?
1. Click on the phone icon on your gmail.
2. A key pad will pop up in the right lower corner like so:
3. Add money here using your credit card. I usually add $10 at a time.
4. Choose the country you want to call then dial the number you need. Drop the number 0 that preceeds your area code then click "Call" (5).
