NEW YORK -- The Brooklyn Nets' disappointing start to the season hit a low point with the loss of All-Star center Brook Lopez due to a broken foot.
The Nets announced Saturday in a statement that Lopez's status will be updated next week after a consultation with team physicians. But according to league sources, Lopez will miss the remainder of the season due to his ailing health and the Nets are operating as so.
