No sooner has Microsoft’s Xbox One been unleashed on the handful of territories worthy of its power than it has been subject to a variety of horrible technical issues, although whether they are any more widespread than those afflicting the PS4 is another matter.
Complaints about a “disc-read error” and a supposed system update failure capable of bricking the console have surfaced – though just how common these are in relation to the number of consoles shipped is completely unknown (and doubtless likely to remain so, given Microsoft’s PR lessons)
