I kept wondering, since I was a child, why people make merit by giving something, especially money to monks who already have every necessary thing in their lives. Some are regarded as god. Many followers worship them. Making them rich and famous. There are some questions I really want to know.
- Why don't you give it to ones who lack?
- What if some lazy guys become monk so that they can get free load of food everyday? or even worse bulding their wealth by exploiting faith of those unconscious people?
- Do you believe that giving objects to those will make you any good?
- Don't you want to choose your religion by yourself when you was first born? Culture just throws religion to you and make you believe because of code of cunduct in this culture.
- Is religion a tool to make people go in the same direction created by clever men who want to rule you?
- Last but not least, why do people have to have a religion? Or people are too weak to stand on their own feet? So they ask for help from the whatever they believe in.
