Thailand’s corruption rating levels are dramatically down under the leadership of Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra with a rating of 18 in the Global Corruption Barometer, 2013 down from 37 in 2012.
This compares to a dismal rating of 78 in 2010 under the government of the former Thai PM Mark Abhisit Vejjajiva whose government had a corruption level that increased to 80 in 2011.
This latest information will no doubt be ignored in the Thai English language press such as the Nation an the Bangkok Post who have been openly supporting the yellow faces behind Thailand’s “White Mask” group that have been telling us that the corruption levels have increased under the government of Yingluck Shinawatra.
