Is the professeur in America like student like us?

I have general questions that some of you might think it is unuseful.

When you guy writing report to your supervisor, do you send a little by a little instead of send all the same time. I have send to him 10 pages. But in fact it is just some part of my report.

Should I wait to finish all or I continue send it like this
