A new law will be enforceable in October which requires new immigrants to pass level 2 English (upper
secondary school level) with minimum score of 5.5 in order to qualify to be a British citizen. Level 2 is
relatively a high standard.

I think the requirements is unachievable which can be very difficult for new immigrants. At the moment,
people only need to pass level 1 without a specific score.
