We are now in Beirut, a nice City by the way, and we are in a very good mood. Of course we miss seven injured players, but we did a intense and concentrated short trainings camp in Qatar and played a very good, a promising match - please don't forget this team never played in this combination before. Every single one of the team is excited to be part of the national team and all of them want to show there very best for Thailand.
Thats exactly the mood, the atmosphere you need to enter such an important match.

Another thing. It seems as if the media write even more about me when ever I am not in Thailand. I experienced that in January, after the Suzuki Cup. I was in Germany and suddenly the media wrote a lot of very ugly and untrue stuff about my team and me.
Now it starts again, I am not in Thailand and nearly every day some one called me or wrote to me, that there is another strange story about me in the media. Sometimes so totally confusing and senseless, that it would be a waste of time to reply to it.
อีกอย่างหนึ่ง ผมรู้สึกว่าสื่อเขียนถึงผมเวลาผมไม่อยู่เมืองไทยมากกว่าตอนที่ผมอยู่ ผมรู้สึกถึงเรื่องนี้ช่วงเดือนมกราคม หลังจากการแข่งขันชิงถ้วยซูซูกิ ตอนนั้นผมอยู่เยอรมนีแล้วอยู่ดีๆ สื่อก็เขียนถึงอะไรแย่ๆ มากมายเกี่ยวกับผมและทีมของผม
และตอนนี้ก็เป็นอีกแล้ว ผมไม่อยู่เมืองไทย แต่ทุกๆ วันจะมีใครสักคนโทรหาผมหรือเขียนถึงผมว่ามีเรื่องแปลกๆ เกี่ยวกับผมลงในสื่ออีกแล้ว บางทีก็เป็นเรื่องที่สับสนและไร้สาระเกินกว่าที่จะตอบกลับไปโดยไม่รู้สึกเสียเวลาได้
This behavior hurt and it frustrated me, but it never changed and it will not change my mind.

I want to be the National-trainer of Thailand, because I love the country more and more, because I am more and more touched by the support of the people, because i love to work with the team and last but not least, because I am very, very confident that we can improve to a spectacular level and astonish Asia and the World with successful, exciting and simple beautiful thai football. A short notice about the team-manager confusion. I gave an interview some days ago and someone asked me about it. My statement:

ถาม: แล้วเรื่องตำแหน่งผู้จัดการทีมชาติไทยล่ะ เราอ่านและได้ยินเรื่องนี้มาเยอะมาก ตอนนี้คุณเป็นผู้จัดการทีมด้วยใช่ไหม
Answer: well to be honest the position of the thai team manager seem a bit confusing too me. It seems to be something completely different than in any other nation. Anyway right now I can tell you three things about the team manager position.

ตำแหน่งผู้จัดการทีมไทยเป็นเรื่องที่ยังสับสนอยู๋สำหรับผม

แต่ยังไงก็ตามตอนนี้ผมบอกคุณได้ 3 อย่างเกี่ยวกับตำแหน่งผู้จัดการทีม
1. We miss Mr Thanusak because he was a good friend of the national team and it was great to have someone like him, with so much passion and true love for football next to us. Would be great to see him again with the team.

3. President Mr Worawi Makudi never spoke to me about that position.
3. คุณวรวีร์ มะกูดี นายกสมาคมฯ ไม่เคยพูดอะไรกับผมเรื่องตำแหน่งนี้
So i have no idea who is or will be the team manager. And if President Mr Worawi Makudi should ask me if i want this position too, i would think about it very seriously because all i want is to improve the national team and the thai football.
