ภาคสุดท้ายของภาพยนตร์ชุด"ทไวไลต์ ซากา" กลายเป็นหนังที่ได้รับการเสนอชื่อเข้าชิงรางวัล"ราซซี อวอร์ดส ครั้งที่ 33 " ปีล่าสุดมากที่สุด
Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2 ซึ่งทำรายได้ทั่วโลกไปกว่า 814 ล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐ ถูกเสนอชื่อเข้าชิงรางวัล "โกลเด้น ราสเบอร์รี อวอร์ดส" หรือ “ราประจำปีนี้มากที่สุด ไปถึง 11 รางวัล ใน 10 สาขา ซึ่งรวมถึงหนังยอดแย่ และรางวัลดารานำชายและหญิงยอดแย่ ซึ่งมีโรเบิร์ต แพททินสัน และคริสเต็น สจ็วร์ต เข้าชิงตามลำดับ เช่นเดียวกับบิล คอนดอน ผู้กำกับภาคสุดท้ายของทไวไลท์ มีรายชื่อเข้าชิงในสาขาผู้กำกับภาพยนตร์ยอดแย่เช่นกัน
ส่วนภาพยนตร์บล็อกบัสเตอร์อย่าง Battleship เข้าชิงมากถึง 7 รางวัล ซึ่งรวมถึงนักร้องชื่อดังอย่างรีฮันนา ซึ่งเข้าชิงในสาขาดาราประกอบหญิงยอดแย่ ขณะที่ผู้กำกับและนักแสดงผิวสีชื่อดังอย่างไทเลอร์ เพอร์รี ได้เข้าชิงใน 2 สาขา ทั้งดารานำหญิงและนำชายยอดเยี่ยม จากหนังเรื่องเดียวกันคือ Madea′s Witness Protection
